Play is at the heart of the Swiss Federation of Toy Libraries (SFTL), the umbrella organisation for around 350 independent toy libraries in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
We provide advice and support to toy libraries; we offer them appropriate training and we handle public relations. Our members fulfill the federation’s operating standards, ensuring a highly professional service. The SFTL offers its members opportunities to network at local, cantonal, regional, and international levels. We promote the social and cultural values of play and aim to make play accessible to all.

You can borrow toys and games from around 350 independent toy libraries, located all over Switzerland. Toy libraries are open to everyone – children, teens, adults, grandparents, institutions, schools, etc. As well as their lending sections, most toy libraries offer spaces where you can play.
